Creative Computing: View PhD opportunities

Carry out multidisciplinary research alongside our experts at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (machine learning), serious and fun gaming, and cognitive modelling to simulate a physical world either as a virtual, augmented, or mixed reality environment.

Inclusive Design: View PhD opportunities

Work with our supervisors and deep dive into research on how stakeholders (e.g., designers, users, clients), disciplines (e.g., design, engineering, psychology, architecture) and emerging technologies (e.g., AR, VR, IoT, artificial intelligence) help contribute to human-centred design and inclusive processes and outcomes, to benefit the widest possible audience and contribute to sustainable development.

Funding Notes

Brunel offers a number of funding options to research students that help cover the cost of their tuition fees, contribute to living expenses or both. The UK Government is also offering Doctoral Student Loans for eligible students, and there is some funding available through the Research Councils.
