The Business School (Durham University's fourth faculty) is inviting applications for entry into its PhD programme covering research undertaken in the areas of Accounting, Economics & Finance and Management & Marketing.
These fully funded PhD Scholarships are specifically allocated to the School’s Research Centres and are aimed at high-calibre students who wish to pursue a research career in academia, government, research organisations, or in business.

The scholarships are available for outstanding students from all nationalities; the scholarships cover both home and international student tuition fees and include a maintenance allowance of £15,609 per annum for 3 years.
Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to contact members of the research centres about their research topic and to seek their advice on developing the proposal they wish to submit. The full proposal (max. 2000 words) for submission is then submitted along with (1) a University Postgraduate Application Form; and (2) a current c.v. – max 2 pages.
