About the Programme

The University of Aberdeen Business School is delighted to be able to offer an exciting range of PhD studentship opportunities.

We are currently accepting applications for three PhD studentships; "Analyses of Market Efficiency in Various Security Markets during the Financial Crises", "Covid-19 and emergent changes in work practices" and "The Sustainable Development of Media Tourism in Scotland".

Prospective candidates are required to develop the project idea outline into a PhD proposal of no more than 1500 words. The proposal should include relevant up to date literature sources and provide some indication of an appropriate research methodology that could be applied to the project.

To be considered for the projects the candidate must also meet the standard entry requirements for the PGR programme. This includes having a degree or other qualification considered to be the equivalent to a first- or upper second-class Honours degree of a British University or a postgraduate Master's degree in Business or a related area.
