Profile Description

At Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) we're looking for outstanding candidates to take up a number of generous postgraduate Masters scholarships.

We have a rich and vibrant postgraduate community with a broad range of postgraduate programmes and academic interests across our five Schools covering Art, Design, Architecture & Landscape Architecture, Music and History of Art.

Available awards

• Andrew Grant Postgraduate Scholarships

Ten Andrew Grant Postgraduate Scholarships, for the sum of £10,000 each, two awards per ECA School. These awards will be tenable for one academic year. Open to new applicants who have applied for admission to a postgraduate taught Masters or Masters by Research degree programme at Edinburgh College of Art commencing in September 2019.

• ECA Postgraduate Masters Scholarships

Five ECA Postgraduate Masters Scholarships, for the sum of £10,000 each. These awards will be tenable for one academic year. Open to new applicants who have applied for admission to a postgraduate taught Masters or Masters by Research degree programme at Edinburgh College of Art commencing in September 2019.

• Bucher-Fraser Scholarships

Two Bucher-Fraser Scholarships, for the sum of £12,500 each. These awards will be tenable for one academic year. Open to new applicants who have applied for admission to a full-time postgraduate taught Masters degree programme within the Reid School of Music commencing in the 2019/20 academic year.

• Jean Kennoway Howells Scholarship

One Jean Kennoway Howells Scholarship, for the sum of £9,000. This award will be tenable for one academic year. Open to new applicants who have applied for admission to a full-time postgraduate taught Masters degree programme within the Reid School of Music commencing in the 2019/20 academic year.

Please note: all awards are first used towards meeting the tuition fee costs for the successful applicant and for awards where there is any remaining balance this will be paid to the award holder as a stipend.

Eligibility

You must ensure that you have fully completed and submitted your Masters programme application for admission using the University's online system by no later than 22nd February 2019.

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application. The closing date for applications is 1st March 2019.
