About the Programme
The University of Nottingham School of Law PhD programme offers candidates an excellent research environment in one of the leading law schools in the UK.
The School of Law is consistently ranked amongst the leading law schools in the UK and is a world-ranked centre for legal research and teaching. The School was recently ranked 41st globally in the Times World University Rankings for 2019 for law. In the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014), the School was ranked 6th among UK law schools in terms of both research power and intensity.
We welcome aspiring scholars to apply for our PhD programme and become integrated with our vibrant and diverse research community, which includes world-leading research and teaching staff. As part of a Russell Group University, PhD candidates may also benefit from collaborating with scholars from other departments.
