    Funded PhD Project (Students Worldwide)

Project Description

Although China is the world largest market of new energy vehicles, it is facing significant challenges regarding policy changes and technological disruption. The existing literature mainly focuses on the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), but little attention has been paid to the unified effects of vehicle electrification, sharing and autonomous driving. Informed by these three industrial trends, this project consists of multiple studies, including the first three studies focusing on electrification, sharing and autonomous driving respectively, followed by an integrative study on these three aspects. The results of this project will provide significant implications for government policy and business practices. This project is funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and thus the PhD student would benefit from using the research fund for data collection.
