Proposed Training: We will provide technical training in optimising 3D visualisation algorithms to transform the way clinicians and surgeons view MSK image data. The HDR and PD will be embedded with clinicians and surgeons to identify the many factors of visualisation that are critical for the success of diagnosis and pre-surgical planning and will learn to translate these findings into usable clinical software.
Proposed Outcomes: This project will produce a new 3D visualisation algorithm that enables improved diagnosis and pre-surgical planning by allowing clinicians to view the anatomical characteristics of the MSK defect without the noise and obstruction inherent in the medical images.
