Detailed Project Description
A PhD studentship is available at the University of Galway, to carry out gene editing on pluripotent stem cells, neuronal differentiation, drug screening and pharmacological characterisation. The project is funded by Science Foundation Ireland as a part of the Future-Neuro Research Centre nationwide.
Candidates with relevant expertise on Stem Cell Biology, Genetic Engineering, Neuroscience, Pharmacology and/or Drug Discovery are encouraged to apply. Evidence of previous success on research and publication will be an advantage.
Living allowance (Stipend): €18500 per annum, [tax-exempt scholarship award]
University fees: €5500 per annum Start date: 1 Oct, 2023
