Dr SL Lee  Applications accepted all year round  Funded PhD Project (Students Worldwide)

About the Project

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Atmospheric Chemistry Group (https://sites.google.com/uah.edu/shanhulee) is seeking a talented and motivated graduate student to perform research in the area of air pollution, atmospheric chemistry, and aerosol particles. Specifically, the current project aims to understand atmospheric formation and growth processes, via laboratory and field observations and data simulations. We utilize the state of art mass spectrometers (HrTOF-CIMS or CI-APi-TOF; LC-ESI Orbitrap mass spectrometer) and aerosol instruments (PSM and SMPS).

A BS or MS degree (in chemistry, atmospheric science, or chemical/environmental engineering), strong experimental and computing skills, and prior research experiences in the relevant fields are required. The Graduate research assistant will be paid with stipends (ranging from $26,000 to $28,400 per year) and full tuitions (around $18,000 per year).

If you are interested in, please send your CV, contact information of three references, transcript(s), and PDF of publications to Dr. Shanhu Lee ([Email Address Removed]).
