About the Project

A project with Dr Clodagh Brook will investigate the place of religion in European Cinema from the 1960s. The politics of religious identity, religious dissent, satire, and hagiographies are all suitable areas of research under this theme, as is archival research on production and distribution of both religious and anti-religious cinema and TV.
