This project investigates the impact of competition on the level and structure of compensation for CEOs with different skill characteristics. It studies the economic mechanisms through which competition affects the risk taking of financial firms. The research will then focus on the impact of competition on matching in the labour market for talent and the incentive design for the workforce. It also explores the implication of such labour market outcomes on the stability of the financial system.
