Proposed Training: The project will provide technical training in image-based modelling and historical-data based simulation for predictive tools, which will allow the iterative creation of new implants The PDs and HDRs will be embedded with all POs to determine optimal translation of the results of the models and simulations to viable devices.
Proposed Outcomes: We will develop a computational model that can be adapted for use as a predictive planning tool for surgical parameters. These models will be informed by imaging. The model will be used to derive the physical and mechanical properties to enable implant adaptation lo expected load after injury and surgery.
