Cross-border cooperation in Europe
This project seeks to examine the factors that influence the shape and success of different cross-border cooperation programmes in Europe, as funded through the EU. Some of these are much more successful than others, in terms of achieving the programme aims, or simply in terms of financial progress. Some of them feature specialist instruments such as ’small projects funds’, while others do not. What factors explain these discrepancies?
Candidates who speak several European languages, who would be comfortable carrying out interviews in other European countries, and who are happy to work with spreadsheets would be most suited for this project.
