About the Project

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate interested in bioorganic chemistry and interdisciplinary research at the chemistry/biochemistry interface. Research in the field of bio-organic chemistry and teaching tasks (organic chemistry). The project involves the development of a new method for the highly sensitive detection of viral RNA by template-controlled cleavage reactions; oligonucleotide chemistry; conjugation chemistry; photochemistry; HPLC; optical spectroscopy; and tasks for personal scientific qualification (doctorate/PHD).

Requirements: Completed university degree in the field of (bio)organic chemistry (with possible very good degree); experience in oligonucleotide chemistry and photochemistry desirable; very good written and spoken English skills; ability to work in an interdisciplinary manner.
