Project Description

Enrolment information: Australian residents/ citizen and Internationals

Coronary artery disease is the leading cause of death worldwide. Blood flow patterns are a major determinant of this disease, contributing to its onset, progression and treatment success rate. This project combines clinical images and measurements to create computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations. This may ultimately guide clinical practise and help medical devices development.
To be considered for this position you must have a good mathematical understanding, strong engineering knowledge, computational modelling experiences, and programming skills. Your interest in and willingness to learn about cardiac physiology is important.
