About the Project

Concrete is one of the most used construction materials in construction practice overall world. Aggregate is the main constituent material for concrete and it affects the concrete properties significantly. Natural aggregates are generally used for high quality concrete, however the massive natural aggregate requirement significantly damage the natural environment and is unsustainable, therefore, reused aggregate is recommended to be used. This project is to develop new concretes using reused aggregates for concrete structural member. The project will include concrete mixing, small structural member cast, specimen test and results comparison and analysis.
