About the Project

Application consists of completing an online application. To apply, please visit the King’s Apply website at https://myapplication.kcl.ac.uk/

We are interested in understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms of cardiac differentiation, regeneration and disease. You will focus on developing new in vitro models, including 3D cardiac organoids using pluripotent stem cells, to study genes and signalling pathways regulating heart development and identify new drug candidates for heart disease. The project will provide multidisciplinary training in molecular, cellular, stem cell and cardiac biology and chances to learn cutting-edge technology, including genome editing, human iPSCs and high-resolution molecular imaging. We are searching for motivated candidates, and we offer a supportive and friendly environment.

For further information and how to apply please visit the studentship webpage
