About the Project
A funded studentship is available in the group of Prof. Rachel O’Reilly at the University of Birmingham to study for a PhD that is focused on the development of precise polymer nanoparticles. The projects are across a range of areas that the group are interested:
• Polymerisation-induced self-assembly of functional monomers
• Crystallisation-driven self-assembly of degradable polymer amphiphiles
• Synthesis and characterisation of novel nanoparticle assemblies using advanced scattering and microscopy techniques
Projects will have a balance of synthesis, self-assembly and characterization and will be ideal for students that are interested in a fundamental research project with an applied goal.
Enquiries and informal applications should include a C.V. and be made to Prof. Rachel O’Reilly ([Email Address Removed]).
