Brunel University London (BUL) is recruiting to EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) PhD studentships effective 1 October 2020. Applications are invited for the following specific project entitled “Digital Stone Construction”. Project ideas are welcome in various disciplines, such as sustainability, environmental impact, BIM, digital design, digital quarrying, stone cutting, printed stone, embedded sensors, remote controlled site construction and life-cycle assessment.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate strong analytical skills in engineering or relevant disciplines, an
aptitude for working in laboratory, field and/or with industrial partners; highly creative problem-solving skills; self-motivation; an inquisitive mind and excellent communication skills.
