About the Project

The Single-Molecule Chemistry research group is looking for a Doctoral Candidate within the framework of the European project ULTIMATE

40 hours a week; fixed-term employment for 3 years; job starting date: 1st April 2020

Your tasks

Investigation of functional molecules in ultra-high vacuum by scanning probe techniques
Manipulation of single molecules at surfaces by SPM
Study intermolecular interactions and chemical reactions of adsorbed molecules
Doctorate thesis

Your profile

Master in chemistry, physics or pharmaceutical sciences (or comparable)
Knowledge in the field of experimenttal physics, physical chemistry
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Communication and organizational skills and ability to work in teams
