About the Project

To develop and analyse evolutionary systems to advance understanding of natural and artificial evolutinary processes and their capacity to generate increasingly intelligent behaviours.

Please quote FNS GS 2019-04 on your application and "Evolutionary systems" Lead supervisor Dr A Channon.

Closing date:
10 March 2019 in the first instance. Applications received by the deadline will receive first consideration (decisions by 31 March). Applications received after the deadline will be considered in order of receipt in the department, and only if the studentship has not been awarded.

Funding Notes

100% UK/EU tuition fee (£4,327) for 3 years, commencing academic year 2019-20. Stipend for three years at UK Research Council rate (£15,009 p.a. for 2019/20).

Eligibility Criteria:
UK and EU nationals and legally permanent residents are eligible for full funding (tuition fees and stipend at UKRC rate).
International students may apply but will need to cover the difference between UK/EU and International fees.
