Exploring the benefits of flavonoids for cognitive function in type 2 diabetes

Project Description

Evidence suggests that flavonoids have the potential to improve cognitive function and various metabolic measures of health such as cardivoascular outcomes and insulin sensitvity. It is know that type 2 diabetes is associated with cognitive impairments. This project will explore the utility of a flavonoid intervention to improve cognitive function and other metabolic measures in type 2 diabetes.
