Fully funded PhD position in Software Engineering

Project Description

The Position

A fully funded PhD scholarship covering both tuition fees and living expenses for three years is available immediately in the broad area of empirical software engineering. The candidate will not only contribute to ongoing research projects but will also have the opportunity to develop their own research agenda under the supervision of experienced researchers in the School of Computer Science at the University of Adelaide.

Your Profile

Candidates should have an excellent master’s or four-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Besides advanced programming knowledge and very good written and oral communication skills in English, experience or interest in designing and conducting empirical studies (both quantitative and qualitative) are required. Knowledge in machine learning or natural language processing is an asset, so is industrial software development experience.
