Some of the topics that we study in our lab: • How to accelerate recovery of cities from large disasters such as flooding • The linkages between reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to the impacts of climate change • Flows and stocks of energy, materials and emissions in cities and buildings • Network structures of urban infrastructure and their relation to (un)desirable outcomes
Our often used methods and tools of choice • Empirical study • Data science • Modeling and simulation • GIS • Collaboration with stakeholders
Interested applicants can submit a cover letter detailing their interest and past experience working on the challenges that cities face.
Review of applicants will start as they arrive and continue until the position is filled. Please send cover letter and CV to [email protected]. Candidates with a strong CV and letter will then be asked to interview.
