About the Project

The Scholarship
The institute awards a full-time PhD scholarship (1.200 €/month) for up to three years. Interested PhD candidates can apply for the following topic
Head Injuries in Football The project will be conducted in collaboration with the University Paderborn and supervised by Prof. Tim Meyer & Prof. Claus Reinsberger. Thus, the successful candidate has to be willing to conduct parts of the project at the partner institution in Paderborn.

The Institute
Leading institute in the area of football research, focussing on training monitoring, recovery, injuries, match analysis, and female football. A licensed FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence, with established collaborations to Universities around the world.

The Candidates
Requirements are a Master’s or a equivalent degree in Sport Science, Medicine or related disciplines, strong communicational skills in English, both written & spoken & prior experience in research & high performance environments.
