This exciting collaboration between the University of the Highlands and Islands’ world leading Centre for Northern Studies and one of the most iconic whisky distilleries in Scotland will provide the researcher with a unique opportunity to gain not only academic skills but also skills in research impact articulation which is so important in today’s academic environment. To that end, the researcher will provide materials for a popular book, for the visitor’s centre, and for an exhibition. The researcher and the supervisory team will undertake staff training sessions for the distillery guides.
