Keele historians are enthusiastic, reflective and ambitious scholars. Research interests include: Medieval History; Early modern British History; Modern British; European, African and Asian History; Local History; Public History; History of Medicine; Gender History; Imperial History; Religious History.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants are expected to have completed recognised AHRC research training at Masters level, or equivalent experience, and a degree in any undergraduate level or above.

Funding Notes
All funded PhD students, whether UK or International will be eligible for a full award which includes a stipend to support living costs, and fees at the standard UKRI home fee rate. Keele University will fund the difference between the Home and Overseas tuition fee for any successful overseas applicants.
