Project Description

Seeking highly motivated early career researchers for a PhD studentship on the integrative genomics of gene expression and immune phenotypes at the Department of Twin Research & Genetic Epidemiology, King’s College London. The Department has close collaborative links with Divisional and other Research Departments within King’s College, as well as external Research Organisations.

Regulation of gene expression is a highly heritable, critical component of a variety of biological processes. The majority of genetic variants associated with common diseases are regulatory, highlighting the importance of understanding the genetics of gene regulation in order to interpret the wealth of data generated in genome-wide association and whole genome sequencing studies and to understanding the genetic architecture of disease and complex traits.
