About the Project

Although depth cameras and sensors have been popularized, there are still some practical limitations to using them in several contexts. One of them is designing algorithms that allow interaction with point-based data. Collision, editing, animation, and other operations are a barrier to using these in real time applications. This PhD will explore this space of interacting with massive point clouds, or real time streams.
