About the Project

Research topic:
As addiction to our interdisciplinary research team we are looking for a scientist aiming to specialize in the research topic „Simulation and experimental investigations for the use of a range-extender powertrain concept in recreation vehicles“. Research activities cover the topics e“-fuels“, optimum/real operation strategies as well as the influence of the hybrid architecture / fuel on emissions and are characterized by an interdisciplinary approach. The research activities are carried out at the Institute of Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics in close cooperation with researches in the field of fuels and sensor systems as well as with international industrial partners.

Requirements:
• Excellent university graduation in mechanical engineering
• High interest in applied research activities in the research area
• Team spirit, commitment, assertiveness and flexibility
• Assistance in the mentoring of bachelor and master theses
