About the Project

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of researchers working on ESRC project “Variability in Child Speech (VariCS)”. This large-scale longitudinal study will investigate how children’s speech develops and changes over time in order to establish the extent to which speech development varies between children. This PhD project is nested within the larger project. You will collect ultrasound tongue imaging data from around 40 children aged 5 and up to study variability in articulation. An ability to work with children and an interest in articulatory analysis is essential.
