About the Project

This PhD scholarship is provided by a Royal Society of New Zealand funded project focused on the development of new solid-state synthesis methods. This will focus on the development of solid-state radical reactions and their application in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry

We would like the student to start as soon as possible, ideally early-mid 2023. A background in synthetic chemistry is essential and experience in mechanochemistry is desirable.

Auckland is a vibrant, multicultural city that consistently ranks among the world’s most livable cities. UoA is a top 100 ranked University (QS 87th) with ~ 10000 enrolled postgraduate students
