Multi-Physics Optimization of Control Valve Structure – An Integrated approach with Approximation Assisted Models

   School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem

Dr Long Huang  Applications accepted all year round  Funded PhD Project (Students Worldwide)

About the Project

This research proposed a control valve optimization approach based on multi-physics fluid dynamics modeling. This allows for the rapid completion of key component structural design to achieve the control valve's performance requirements. This considers complex flow characteristics and structural features as multiple optimization objectives to improve the performance of control valves under actual working conditions. Finally, this project aims to construct an approximation assisted modeling framework for structural optimization design, improving the design efficiency of control valves.
