About the Project

Extended Reality of Workplace Meeting solution would aim to generate automatic minutes of the meeting taking input from the multimodal information. For project meetings, we envisage automatic generation of a list of action points for the participants with the ability of the moderator to edit them in real time. Real time correction of minutes will have an impact over the overall efficiency of the meeting: the moderator revision will be more accurate as it is being performed during the meeting, so concepts are being discussed just in that moment. Also, participants can review during the meeting how the previous part of the meeting has been structured, improving the general comprehension of it. Finally, the real time correction of the minutes can provide feedback to automatic systems so newer parts of the minutes are more accurate (using that feedback). There are going to be a variety of use-cases how the automatic minutes creation with real time correction can improve meeting efficiency.

The project would also aim to improve the coordination among the participants because having the action points identified and written in text during the meeting provides a way to refer to them specifically during the discussions. If the minutes and action points are just shared after the meeting all these benefits are not available.
