About the Project

This study will investigate the design and optimisation of NLF wings for transonic flow. The stability of the boundary layer around the wing including cross flow instability and attachment line instability will be studied. The wing will be optimised for minimum drag.

Funding Notes

1st or 2:1 degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or other Relevant Discipline.

Previous experience / requirements: Aerodynamics / CFD
