About the Project

Silicon-based OLED micro-display technology is an important branch in the field of display technology. The purpose of its research is to develop high brightness and low power silicon- based OLED micro-display chips through innovative design of OLED materials and devices, and to provide high-quality display technology solutions for near-eye display applications. At present, OLED micro-display technology is becoming more and more mature, and the industrialization process is accelerating. It is penetrating into the low, medium and high-end application market. It is hopeful that OLED micro-display technology will completely replace the existing LCD products in the future. The successful implementation of this project will directly improve the performance and market competitiveness of silicon-based OLED micro- display chips, and at the same time will produce abundant related technical achievements in the field of silicon-based OLED micro-display, which is of positive significance to enhance China's core competitiveness and supply capacity in the field of display technology and hardware. High-performance silicon-based OLED microchip will greatly enhance the experience of virtual augmented reality applications and accelerate their marketization.
