Project Description

Enrolment information: Australian residents/ citizen and Internationals

Coronary artery disease is the leading cause of death worldwide. Blood flow patterns are a major determine of this disease by ruling its onset, progression and treatment success. Understanding of coronary blood flow has therefore tremendous value for society. This project uses experimental flow testing to create computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations to expand knowledge in this field. This can ultimately guide clinical practice and help medical devices development.
To be considered for this position you must have a good mathematical understanding, strong engineering knowledge, computational modelling experiences, and programming skills. Your interest in and willingness to learn about cardiac physiology is important.
