About the Project

We are looking for a top, highly-motivated PhD candidate in Electronics Engineering (Integrated Circuit Design) interested in joining our group at University of Genova, Genova, Italy and working on cutting-edge research topics on: Integrated circuits with scalable power supply voltages for wireless sensor nodes (WSN) powered by harvesters

We offer:

• the opportunity to work in a very stimulating international research environment, with high-quality supervision standards

• tapeout availability (even in this period of "global shortage of semiconductor”...) from 180nm TSMC to 22nm FDSOI GF

• periods (i.e. 1 or 2 months) of remote working allowed (i.e. whenever lab measurements are not needed)

• Visiting period of 12-18 months at top international universities (i.e. the National University of Singapore) can be scheduled on request. An excellent academic background in electrical/electronic engineering, possibly with some previous experiences in analog-mixed signal and/or digital and/or RF IC design and with the Cadence environment is required.
