Looking for an opportunity to use your chemistry degree to help those most in need?
Lysosomal Storage Disorders are a group of genetic diseases that affect children, resulting in either death within a few months of birth or severe lifelong illness. Usually, there is no way to treat these unfortunate children. Here is a golden chance for us to make a difference by using chemistry. We have a theory on how to develop an innovative treatment for these children and are looking for a new member to join our team.
We are searching for enthusiastic applicants, with a strong interest in medicinal chemistry, ideally from a background of studying organic chemistry, who speaks Welsh. Our Institute is the ideal place to carry out this exciting research – we have world-leading experts in the field, modern equipment in our state-of-the-art new laboratories and extensive experience in discovering and developing novel treatments with our international collaborators and industrial contacts.
