Project Description

Our group integrates genomics approaches and tools with ecological data collected from long-term studies of vertebrates. We aim to understand how genetic variation is maintained and how evolutionary change occurs. Study populations include the Soay sheep population on St Kilda and great tits from Wytham Woods, Oxford.

For more details about the group’s research visit http://jon-slate.staff.shef.ac.uk/about-the-group/. Most of our work involves computational analysis of genetic data, but some projects have opportunities for lab or field work.
