About This PhD Project

Project Description

PhD, with possibility of financial aiding at The Cyprus Institute (CyI).

Supervisors: Prof. C. Alexandrou (CyI) .

The PhD program will educate students and carry out significant research in Computational Science with specialization in important fields that require High Performance Computing such as Climate Modeling, Computational Physics, Machine Learning, Scientific Computing, Computational Chemistry, 3D Visualization and Computational Biology. The program is designed to educate future researchers in mathematical modeling and computational methods and techniques needed to solve complex scientific and engineering problems, as well as in management and visualization of complex data sets.

Applications are welcome from candidates worldwide, with strong analytical and numerical skills, and a relevant scientific background e.g. mathematics, theoretical physics, engineering, computer science.
