PhD position in synthesis of electrocatalysts for metal-air batteries

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate who is interested in materials for energy storage/conversion. The project goals are (1) to synthesized the cathode electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (ORR) from metalloorganic frameworks, (2) electrochemical testing, and (3) prototyping all-flexible (stretchable, bendable) battery for various portable electronic applications.
