About the Project


The successful applicant will be part of a diverse team developing a new platform for the next generation of photonics and quantum optical devices. They lead the development of new processes and applications for cutting edge solid-state materials. The final goal being their implementation into waveguide configurations for state-of-the-art photonic and quantum optical devices.

Eligibility Criteria

You must have or expect a First Class or high 2:1 Honours degree or international equivalent in physics or a closely related discipline. Enthusiasm for research, ability to think and work independently, excellent analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential requirements.

The award is available to Home and International applicants.
