Novel nano-fabrication routes are required for future IoT applications to enable mass production of printable components and systems, with nanometre resolution on flexible substrates. This project involves the integration of electronic circuits with low energy communication interfaces, energy harvesting with storage modules, sensors and actuators in a single platform.
The project involves: Development of a process capability for printable components and systems Development of novel emerging materials: graphene, CNT, silver nanowires, ZnO, quantum dots etc. Demonstration of unified design, manufacture and integration approaches for sensors/actuators, energy capture and control, communication, in a single platform
This project will commence in July 2019 and will finish in June 2023.
Entry requirements: Applicants must hold a First Class degree or Masters distinction in a relevant subject. If English is not your first language, you will be required to have an IELTS Academic of 6.5 or above (or equivalent), with no sub-test score below 6.
