Physicochemical characterisation and classification of blood samples following lifestyle changes using drop tensiometry and spectrometry

Project Description

The purpose of the work is to investigate the effects of lifestyle changes to the physicochemical characteristics of blood samples. Drop tensiometry and other spectral methods will be used for that purpose. Chemometric analysis and signal processing will enable the quantification of the observed changes. The successful candidate will develop the relevant signal processing routines in Matlab or Mathcad. Linear and non-linear classifiers will also be developed for the purpose.

Eligibility requirements: First class / upper second OR lower second with a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline
