About the Project

Who's eligible

You must:

  • have an unconditional offer of admission or be enrolled to study a full-time PhD at the University of Sydney Law School
  • be willing to research the effects of transnational financial regulation in Australia as part of the ARC project on Peer Review of Financial Regulatory Agencies
  • hold an honours degree (first class or second upper) or equivalent in law or an allied social science discipline, such as political science, international relations, sociology or equivalent (a master’s degree with a research component will also satisfy this requirement)
  • be supervised by Associate Professor Yane Svetiev and Associate Professor Andrew Edgar at the Sydney Law School
  • have some previous research experience in law or an allied social science discipline (desirable criteria).

Background

This scholarship is funded by an Australian Research Council (ARC) research project on Peer Review of Financial Regulatory Agencies.
