This project is based around the use of long-term environmental analyses of a newly discovered long Holocene environmental record in East Anglia to understand human environmental interaction in the area. The project student will undertake palaeoenvironmental and chronological analyses to help to reconstruct the environment around the site and work with local archaeologists to place this record into the wider context of human presence and landscape use in the area. There is also the potential to use this information to inform future landscape conservation within the region.
