Project Description

Investigating the ways in which government funded or supported cultural spaces or events (such as museums, galleries, festivals) can move beyond ’othering’ to represent and interpret cultures and peoples. Particularly interested in the potential role of such spaces as a focus for identity-shaping within Diasporic or migrant communities.
