About the Project

Both driverless and driver-controller vehicles will benefit from increased services that can be provided by internet-style connectivity. This work will complement and extend existing work at Loughborough to build new routing and forwarding protocols to support such connectivity. The work has the potential to provide support for autonomous vehicles exploiting AI to improve comfort and safety.

Entry requirements
Applicants should have, or expect to achieve, at least a 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science with a focus on programming. Experience of network protocols is essential as is some experience of network modelling or simulation.

A relevant Master's degree and / or experience in one or more of the following will be an advantage: Computer Science, including a strong ability to write computer programs.
