We invite applications for a PhD studentship with title "Smart monitoring using Artificial Intelligence AI based systems - for biomedical and environmental applications"
Monitoring the quality of waters such as beaches and rivers is becoming a global concern to protect human health. The aim of this project is to develop onsite monitoring system for biomedical and environmental applications. The system will be based on image processing, Lab on chip and Internet of things technologies to detect pathogens in water. The detection process will use a continuous real-time monitoring through Artificial Intelligence –AI, machine learning and deep learning algorithms. The envisioned system has the potential to be installed in situ to better and quicker inform authorities for public health decisions.
